I was looking to get my truck cleaned on Easter Sunday because I took my kids to the beach the day before and they thought it was a good idea to bring sand back with us well im not from Alabama so I did what i always do and went to social media to look for someone who could wash my truck and do it before the day was over. I paid for a “Gold Full Detail,” which was supposed to include “wash, wax, wheels and tires, wheel wells, barrels of the wheels, windows, vacuum, shampoo carpets and seats, wipe down interior vinyl/ trim/ plastics, clean doors and door jams, condition leather, and steam clean interior.” While they cleaned and vacuumed my car, they also missed a lot of spots and were not thorough (see photos). There were grease spots on the window and something that had spattered on the dash was not wiped down. The seats looked like they had been vacuumed, but not washed or steam cleaned. Many spots on the exterior paint were missed. The console and the trunk were skipped entirely. I complained and they politely offered to come touch it up the next week. They addressed some of the areas I had pointed out, but missed others. You can get a car wash + vac from Anthony’s for $75. I think I got more than that, but not $175 more. They do come to you, so perhaps some people would pay extra for the convenience. I was disappointed with the lack of attention to detail and won’t be using them again.

I cannot recommend this shop enough! Roberto and his team did a fantastic Full Detail on my 4 Door Jeep Rubicon. It had been almost 2 years since my last detail and there was a lot of dog hair in the back. Roberto got it looking brand new inside and out, including all of the cracks and crevices. Roberto also offered a free car wash later that week since it was raining at the time of pickup. Excellent customer service, excellent performance, and this will be the only shop in town I go to! Well worth every penny.

I'm very particular about my car, but after read the reviews I decided to give Prime Shine a try. I was NOT disappointed. Kaleb responded promptly to my inquiry. We set a date and he gave me a time and said he would call when they were headed my way. He arrived at the time given. Both Kaleb and Isaiah were very friendly and courteous. They started detailing my car immediately. My white Lexus RX350 is showroom beautiful. Most importantly,they are honest! Several months ago I dropped some cash between the seat and console. The floor and the seats were ok. Some had stains left over. It seemed like the guy did not take his time with the detail. My biggest issue, however, is how SOAKED everything was afterwards. It seemed like he did not attempt to dry anything out, which caused this horrible smell later in the day and the next day(today). Not even a dehumidifier and air fresheners will take the smell out. I DO NOT recommend the service, at least the interior detailing one they provide.

When I pulled up after the paint correction and ceramic coating was done I was floored! Purchased it recently and wasn't happy with how the paint was beat up from car washes. Spoke with David and he explained the process of correcting it and protecting it after it was done. I had some weird scratches on the hood of my brand new car. You could feel some of them when you rub your finger across them. I'm not sure if they came from a car wash or not. The dealership recommended Spellman's. My experience was pleasant from the moment I walked in the door. Heidi was very professional, informative, helpful, friendly... just awesome all around! Did a very great job! Got my 2005 Nissan Maxima washed inside and out for only $35. Came in at 9 am and was out in an hour, and that was only because my car hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a while. Then I brought my grandma's 2014 Kia Seltos and brother's 2011 Honda Accord a month later, and he and his team did great with those as well! They are very flexible with scheduling.

Wow I had my C8 ceramic coating done. I added the protective coating and they made that car look beautiful. It was so nice and Paul and team are the greatest. Let me say this.....this is the BEST detailing spot in Montgomery and probably all of Alabama!! I have gone to so many detailers in Montgomery, and this is the first one that was both affordable and highly detail oriented. My vehicle was showroom ready, and I couldn't see a streak or water make anywhere! If you want your vehicle cleaned and looking showroom ready, I suggest you bring it to the Auto Detail King.

This place is amazing! I work downtown, so I was looking for a convenient place for a hand wash. They had amazing Google reviews, so I gave them a try this morning. The staff is as friendly as can be, professional, and wow, what a great job they did! $30 for a superb exterior wash and a neat, clean inside. You can't beat that. I've tried other places in the past that did not meet my expectations, one place even destroying the headliner in my Honda several years ago. One of the longest and most thorough car washes in the river region area !!! They have a prewash station, a very elaborate wash house, as well as a vacuum station with both glass cleaner and interior cleaning solution. There are two different heads for the vacuums and rags for your spot cleaning needs. Most car washes are a dime a dozen but SUDSTOP stands out from the crowd in all the right ways !

I was extremely disappointed. My first impression was great; there was an attendant that greeted me and was anxious to help- he even spoke to me about joining the wash club. That’s where the “greatness” ended! The employee at the car wash entrance was rude and seemed annoyed to be working. I inquired about whether or not they spray the vehicle prior to entering the car wash station (from previous experience, this is pretty standard at a car wash); the attendant looked at me as if I was speaking an unknown language. Although I purchased the most expensive wash, I don’t feel as if my car was cleaned as thoroughly as at other car washes. This was my first and last time visiting this car wash!

Great car wash. Staff is always friendly. Only critique I have is that they have an area you stop at before going through the wash where they do a "pre-scrub". I really like this extra service. This car wash used to be the shining example of what a carwash should be. Great customer services and a team that actually cares about the customers and doesn't just see them as another number to add to the bottom line. Since the new site manager Mike Blackwell has took over, everything is about numbers. The personalized experience that I used to get at this site is no longer there and the customer service at the pay station is abysmal. As soon as I pull up I am constantly bombarded with questions about buying a club membership and then I am looked at funny when I am told I don't want one. Employees then practically beg and plead with me to buy one and will not leave me alone about it. The equipment is outdated and the prices they offer are to high and are not justified for the quality wash I get when I go through the tunnel. Tire shine is hardly ever applied and when I mention this to the employees there is no offered solution. I am told that I can get a rewash "if I want to." There is never any apology for lackluster service and no attempts to make it right come from employees. Every time I ask for an air freshener I'm told that they are out and yet this has been going on for over 8 months. Vaccums are always clogged, trash litters the ground and it stinks because the trash cans are never emptied. Horrible site. Stay away.

They clean the cars pretty good. But! THEY ARE TOOO SLOW! The People be standing around waiting for over 45 mins sometimes. The Manager is too busy trying to spray and wash as well as take payments. Employees need to take a few extra minutes cleaning themselves up before coming to work instead of coming to work looking like they are still drunk from being at the shot house the night before. Last but not least: people there really need to learn what the words: IF YOU WANT BETTER THEN DO BETTER MEANS and stop being jealous of others. Other people owe you nothing! YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF

This is the best detail shop in Mobile. I had the down south package done on my Yukon and it looks better than when it came back from the dealership new. The paint had scratches and swirls all throughout and they are all gone. The interior was spotless, they even cleaned the fuel door and receiver. Amazing job by the team here and I highly recommend. The chemicals they used rubbed away the writing on the door lock and radio power button. Speaking of the radio, after picking my car up, I noticed the radio was very dim. I tried every setting to increase the brightness. The dash was lighting up fine, but the radio display would stay dim. I immediately called the business about it, and they said to see if there are other brightness settings because they have never had that problem. A day later, the radio display was completely black (no, the power wasn't off), but the radio still worked. At that time, I definitely knew the cleaning chemicals got behind the display and broke it. I ended up having to pay for a new radio and have it installed. Also, we had a sticker where the speedometer is. It's fine that you decided to peel it off, but you couldn't spend an extra 2 minutes getting the rest of it off? The car is clean for the most part, but I will never go to another detailer again. It became more of a headache than what it was worth.

Self-wash bay was very disappointing!! No soap when the dial was set on "High Pressure Soap"; the only time I got soap was when using the brush. As you can see from the pictures, nothing got cleaned. Windshield, Mirrors, Front grill area all the way across and top to bottom as well as the headlights and surrounding area.

It's a decent place to and do a quick spray down with soap then water and hit the bowl real quick. Would give a 4 or 5 star but lost on money cause they ran out of product of color safe soap and also for $3 I just don't think 2minutes is enough time to do enough before you have to throw more change in. Then your tired cause your rushing to get as much done before time runs out

I will start by saying that the manager and attendant on site very very nice and professional. However, the issue is nothing to due with staff. I got the 25$ wash and my jeep genuinely looks like there wasn’t even water sprayed on it. I just got back from a road trip so I had normal road dirt on my jeep that a good rain would pretty much wash off. When I exited the wash I opened my passenger door without paying attention first and looked at my hand and it was black from dirt. Once I looked at the door and realized that my car was just as dirty as when I entered. The manager offered a rewash but after what the first wash did and the fear of scratches if they tried to wash it harder I opted to leave. I wiped it down with my microfiber towel instead to get the dirt off that I could. This was the two towels after a quick half hearted wipe down….

Not a fan of doing things like this…… I’ve literally had my vehicle for two weeks. I took it through the Big Tuna car wash three times—twice on Schillinger and once at Springhill—and noticed scratches all over my brand new vehicle. Granted, it’s a black car, so imperfections are more noticeable, but there were micro-scratches all over it, even on the tail lights. I understood that there’s always some risk when going through a car wash, but then I found a six-inch scratch on the deck lid that you can actually feel with your fingernail. I didn’t notice it until after I left because I didn’t vacuum that day. I called back and was told to come in and fill out an incident report. I immediately did, they took pictures and said someone would contact me. After a few days, I gave them the benefit of the doubt because of the snow, but I still didn’t receive a phone call. I waited another week—no call, or text. So I stopped by to check on the status, and the manager told me, “Oh, you left the premises. There’s nothing we can do about it.” I was like you are kidding me right!! I’ve had this vehicle for literally only two weeks and have gone through just your car wash, three times. How was I supposed to know I needed to inspect the car after going through, especially when the owner herself told me verbatim, the car wash was designed to avoid those micro-scratches. Not to mention I’ve been a customer of theirs basically since launch. I understand it’s just business, but I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I just want other customers to know how a loyal, paying customer has been treated.

Great car wash. Very strong vacuum hoses, too. I've been here multiple times, and the results have always been great. We had the monthly wash club membership for a while, but we just didn't use it enough. The shine and the tire treatment is fantastic. They are at the front entrance of the wash to scrub your car down with a prewash prep that helps the main wash well. I've never had a bad wash here.

I brought them what I thought was the worst situation they’d ever seen. Turns out it was not - they’ve got some stories! Nonetheless, the car I brought was pretty bad. I had little hope they could do much to make it look and smell good. I’ve had cars detailed before, but they were never as bad as the car I brought in this time. The pics tell the story. These guys not only seemingly worked a miracle, they take pride in their work. They have great attitudes and are happy to tell you all they did. When I arrived to pick up this car, it was dark. I did not even ask and they backed the car into their long garage with high intensity lights shining on all sides and they invited me to inspect it. It was almost as if they were challenging me to find something they missed. I could not. The interior had been transformed. Yes, there are permanent stains that will never come out but they reduced them down to near nothing. The bad odor was gone and the car smelled fresh. Crevices, corners, fabric, carpet, everything - nice and clean. They even removed old stickers on a window. They did a fantastic job. Now, it’s expensive….don’t get me wrong. But you get what you pay for and to me it was worth it. Give these guys a chance and you won’t be disappointed.

These guys are excellent! I took my 2007 Tahoe to them and I picked it up sparkling and looking way better than I would have ever expected for a 15+ year old vehicle. They used a clay-bar before they polished in order to reduce the amount of clear coat that I had coming off, they got off all of the black road grime and bugs that I’ve struggled to get off on my own. They also got all the pre-existing stains out of my carpet (some that were there before I bought the vehicle) and there was absolutely no dust to be found on the inside! I highly recommend taking your vehicle to them, they’re already hard at work on one of our other vehicles, can’t wait to see it as well! Also, the staff are great. Knowledgeable, friendly and they kept in contact with me to let me know the status of my vehicle and to to confirm any services that they weren’t sure about to make sure I was OK with the charge. Awesome management at this place, the guys were extremely personable and caring about my car. I purchased a full detail and ceramic coat and was without my car for only a day. Kept me updated on how the coat was going and provided pictures to make sure everything was good before they went ahead. Could not recommend this place enough. They did an amazing job and it was extremely affordable. Will be going back with other cars in the future. Also, I had some scratches that need to be repaired at a body shop. They told me if I go get them fixed that I can come back to get the coat redone on those parts free of charge. No one else has offered that so far. Always do a great job Update: Not always, today was a very bad experience. Took over an hour after my car came out of the wash, it wasn't a lack of people, people were standing around and no one was working on my car. All in all had this been my first trip it would also be my last. I will give them another opportunity. I'll see if this is their new way of doing business or if I simply had an isolated bad experience. Incidentally, the dirt remaining on my windshield looks something like condensation from the AC, it is not, my AC was not on. Mats are obviously not cleaned. Seat not wiped down. Inside doors not clean. Carpet not vaccumed. Debris remaining around windshield wiper base. Spots on car hood. Update: Back to normal! Great job.

Members can no longer pull in just to vacuum their car. The way they have the traffic flowing now, you are forced to have your car washed whether you're interested in having in washed or not.

Edited: I tried this car wash again and was more disappointed than the first time. We opted for the $30 package this time to try to get a nicer wash. It left a ton of soap scum on the car and missed several spots. The car almost looks worse than it did before the wash. I’ve attached photos this time. We will not be giving it a third try. Original: The facility itself is really nice. However, their prices are a little higher than the rest of the car washes in town. I got the $21 car wash, which was towards the bottom of the pricelist. It did not do a very good job on my truck. There was still bird poop and some road grime that it didn’t even touch. The roof and the tailgate seemed like they weren’t even washed. they do offer free vacuums like every other car wash and they have spray bottles with some kind of cleaning fluid and rags you can use. Most of the rags I tried to get were pretty damp. I’m not sure if they had just cleaned them or someone had put them back on the cart instead of in the basket. The cleaning solution itself smells odd but it did a good job of cleaning the spots the car wash missed. They do not have a floor mat cleaner that I could find which is unfortunate because I have rubber floor mats in my truck and they get sticky. Over all the facility and the workers were nice but it did not do a good enough job scrubbing the truck to offset the increased price of my usual car wash.

I brought my 2021 truck in to have it detailed. They did a pretty good job with detailing the inside and outside except this big A__ dent on the roof now. I took it back to the shop and of course. They said it was there when you brought it in. I asked them if they have camera’s in the bay and the owner told me the DVR was down but I could ask the building across the street to look at theirs. Apparently this is their M/O. I guess I’ll take the next steps

[Update: I successfully sued West Coast Customs for the damages they caused.] I got my car detailed here once (a few years ago), and I had no complaints about that. I later got an M3, and I had the windows tinted. I have no complaints about the tint job; however, the ugly dent in my bumper that will cost $812.16 to repair is another story. The shop-owner will not take responsibility, so I've hired a lawyer. If the shop-owner thinks that I'm just going to file his mistake on my insurance, he's mistaken -- I'm prepared to file a lawsuit.

I have previously used this location once before with no problems. Most of the time I don’t even take my car through a car wash and just hand wash it unless I’m in a pinch for time. Today I took my car though and the amount of damage it did to my paint is astronomical. After reading some more of the 1 star reviews I am not unsure if anything will even be done about it. I have already reached out to customer service. I will no longer be taking my car to this location or Take 5 in general.
