I cannot say enough about how relieved I am to have found Williamsburg Hand Wash & Auto Detailing and how grateful I am to Kevin and his team for saving our car. We returned from a trip to find the interior COVERED in mold. It was horrible. The dealer said it would cost over $10k to fix. Kevin found and fixed the source of the water incursion and completely remediated the mold for a fraction of the cost. Our car is now as clean as it was when we bought it. From start to finish, my whole experience with WHW was phenomenal. Kevin explained in detail everything he would need to do to remediate the mold and even advised against a few things I asked about beyond the remediation that would have increased the cost of the work / his take home but which he thought wouldn't ultimately be worth the expense or increase the value of the car enough to be worth it. Henri uses trusted products in a clean and organized garage. His excellent work is unbeatable in price and quality. My daughter spilled thick hot chocolate on my passenger seat and it is now absolutely 100% clean as well as under the seat on the floor carpet. If I could give them 100 stars I would! This shop is the absolute best. My car was in bad shape. I had curry spilled on my seats, in between the seats and the floor. I tried to clean it myself and my seat turned colors. I was so frustrated from the smell alone. I found this shop online and the reviews were really good so I took a chance. The customer service was exceptional from the start. When I went to pick up my car I wanted to cry. My car was showroom new and I was in shock. I couldn’t believe how immaculate my car was. This past week, we left our tired-looking black Audi Q5 2010 in the expert hands of Danny and his team to undergo a dramatic transformation. We went all out after years of neglect: full paint correction, two layers of ceramic coating (preserves the former for years, we’re told), full interior detail, engine detail, and underbody wash. The works! Excellent communication upfront and throughout. The result is incredible: gone are years worth of scratches and swirl makes, the dull black turned into a radiant shine. The interior looks flawless, as does the engine bay. The closest you’ll come to getting a new car without buying one. Wow! I initially found Unico on instagram. After seeing all the amazing work decided to get my cars tints done. I went with the ceramic tint and I have to say it well worth it! David greeted me and showed me my options and after a few hours it was ready and I was very happy with the work. A week later I came back for the a wash. Even though it was 1.5 hour long the wash was well worth it. They wash every car very immaculately and pays great attention to detail.

Long post below. Short version, Kevin is an expert in paint correction and ceramic coating, two cars done and happy customer. I found KS detailing from a few forum car forum searches. My first interaction was back in 2019 for a Daytona Grey Audi s5. A previous detailer tried to polish the car and left a burn mark in the paint. Brought the car to Kevin and he examined the entire car and the burn mark and suggested how to move forward. This wasn’t my first ceramic coating and I have a pretty solid understanding of paint correction and coatings. As soon as he brought out a paint depth gauge I knew I was in the right place. Kevin knows his paint. We talked about the current state and agreed on full correction and he would try and fix the burn in. He didn’t oversell and never promised the burn mark could be fixed. Came a week later to a pristine car, paint corrected and burn mark removed. Coated in CarPro Cquartz Finest Reserve. Very happy with the outcome. Sold the 2019 and got a new 2024 Navarro Audi S5. Same experience this time. Kevin speaks with you, gets your requirements and makes recommendations. He doesn’t try to sell you on the highest package which is full pain correction and finest reserve. It’s what I wanted though. Navarro blue is a beautiful color but is very hard to maintain. It was 5 months old and covered in swirl marks, despite only being hand washed (though not properly) Paint correction is not something anyone can do properly to such an exacting degree. Kevin’s paint correction is meticulously done. Had the 2024 fully corrected and coated with Cquartz finest reserve agin. Pictures speak for themselves. As a final note on why you should trust Kevin with your car. Two hours after picking up the 2024 s5 someone backed into it’s a CVS parking lot. Scratches on a just perfectly corrected car. Issue is once polished out it would remove the coating. Kevin not only said he could fix it and re-coat the area (good 3 hours of work and curing time), he refused to take a dime from me. Go to Kevin if you want to feel like valued customer and receive top tier service.

Update: the owner immediately reached out after my initial review. He was apologetic and appreciative of my business. A team of workers came this week to touch up anything that was overlooked the first time. My overall experience has certainly improved: good customer service, thorough follow-up, and consistent communication. Not worth it for the price. They were pleasant and came to me, so it was convenient. It was easy to schedule an appointment and they were there when they said they would be there. However, the work was mediocre. I probably could’ve done a better job myself, but I don’t have the time. I would’ve happily paid $100 for the job that was done but it was $239.

My jeep wrangler was in terrible shape after our first winter in buffalo. I have a 190 year old and a toddler, needless to say my car needed some TLC After a google search, I decided to call JP’s and inquire about scheduling. I spoke to JP directly and set up an appointment for the next week. A+++ for communication from start to finish. And my jeep has literally NEVER LOOKED BETTER! The attention to detail is mind blowing. Every nook and cranny was cleaned and my car looks like I just drove it off the lot. Upon pick up, the drivers side is protected from the steering wheel wrapping to the seat and the floor mat. I can’t say enough! On behalf of my husband! Terrible Service. I reached out to Chris on Sunday morning via phone call. I had inquired about getting a full interior and exterior done. He told me the price for what I’m looking for was $179. I own my own painting company and advised it’s a work truck with some paint on the interior that is easily able to come off with cleaner or scraped by a finger nail. He told me no problem. He was willing to come out on Sunday between 5-6 pm. He text me at 6:30 saying he had a flat tire. He arrived around 7:20pm. When he arrived, I asked if he’d have enough time because it would be getting dark. He assured me he would have enough time. At 9:48 in the pitch black he finished. I walked around the vehicle but couldn’t see due to darkness and I told him I would check it out in the morning. The next morning I walked around the car with my wife, and it was definitely far from expectations. The interior was just wiped down with a cloth, interior barely vacuumed or wiped down (driver side leather seat was cleaned only because he called me over to look at it in the process). I Reached out to him Monday morning, told him I was not satisfied and he was immediately combative before we even discussed my concerns or specifics stating if I wanted him to come out he could adjust the price accordingly “ in the event I’m knit picking “. He agreed to come out Tuesday by 1:30 pm. Tuesday came, at 8 am he reached to me and said “ I know it’s not perfect and we can meet up and go over it together”. 1:43 pm I text him a “?” Because I hadn’t heard from him. He finally responded at 7:08 pm, I asked for a refund instead of coming back to redo the car. I stated I have everything documented from pics and text messages and I feel taken at this point in which he stated “I will not agree to a refund regardless you can have it all documented all you want I had a family member just die sir, end of discussion, if you are going to be that ignorant of a human being I will never do business with you and you can take your precious car somewhere else and you own a business and it goes both ways IF YOU WANT TO TAKE IT TO THAT”. “Let the court know you looked at the car when I left and you said it was good to go” (mind you it’s pitch black and I advised him I’d double check in the morning when it’s light out. ) he ended up blocking me after he sent that message.

Originally got my paint corrected last year with a ceramic coating which was fantastic, went back for an undercoating and it was done extremely well. No overspray, and the underside looks brand new and stayed protected all winter! Just got the ceramic coating deep cleaned and it’s looking fantastic! Recommend these people highly. They had me an appointment time easily within a week for a reasonable downpayment to reserve. When I tell you they gave this car a complete 180 I am making an understatement. Every inch of the car is as if it were brand new. Pricing is fair, you can probably get a slightly cheaper job done elsewhere, but I would seriously doubt it would be in the same ballpark in terms of quality. Horrible job, save your money and go somewhere else! We had an interior detail done in June. The tech did a terrible job and I think, missed more than he actually wiped. The floor mats still had dirt on them and he “cleaned and shampooed” the seats but after it dried there was absolutely no difference. The owners wife, Leah, said they had 6 other calls on the same service that day. After going back and forth with her for a few weeks, I just asked for my money back or have an actual detail performed. I was told by the owner, Kyle, that he wouldn’t refund the detail in full but that he would personally come out and fix it, he never showed. This may have been a reputable company at one point but that is no longer the case!

I’ve had three cars completely covered in PPF in the Rochester area, this is by far the best installer I’ve ever dealt with. The attention to detail and the unwillingness to settle for the mediocre really makes them stand out above anybody else in WNY. Matte film can be tricky, because you’ll see shine around gaps and edges… but the team here just did above and beyond what I expected. Killer install! The very best!

I had never had my car detailed and the best decision I made was to go through Arete Auto Salon for my car detailing. I chose the interior car detail in the middle of winter but they did amazing work. The staff were very professional, friendly/polite, explained what was to be completed or answered any questions I had. They even have a waiting area in case you need to stay and do some work (like I needed to). Overall very pleased, 10/10 would recommend!

Titan Motorworks went above and beyond for me. They are the type of business I am happy to support. I normally do not write reviews, but I was compelled to in this case. They did a full PPF on the exterior paint and interior trim, ceramic coat, and tints all around on my new X5. I had paid BMW of Rochester to powder coat the factory wheels gloss black. In my excitement of getting my new vehicle, I didn't notice that BMW of Rochester had done a shoddy job with overspray everywhere. Katie at Titan called me and explained the situation and sent me pictures. She offered to deal with the dealership for me and remedy the situation. She was amazing!! She had Titan's powder coat specialist redo the job (see picture) and had BMW of Rochester cover the cost of the redo and a loaner vehicle at no additional expense to me. Titan Motorworks didn't have to do any of this. But they wanted to do things right and give me my vehicle at its best. One picture is when I first picked up the car at their garage. The picture outside is after I did a hand wash one month after taking delivery. I picked up the car in the Fall of 2023, but I'm only writing this review now because I wanted to see how everything held up throughout the winter season. I am very happy with their workmanship. The vehicle looks great and I get compliments all the time. Would highly recommend them if you are looking to get things done correctly with care and attention to detail. All the people I interacted with at Titan are car enthusiasts and they treat your vehicle as if it were one of their own. I highly recommend their services!

I had both my cars ceramic tinted to perfection at tinker auto about a 1.5 years ago. what a difference it makes keeping the inside of your car much cooler on those crazy hot days. On one of my cars the driver window tint just the other day started coming up when i put my window down so i called and explained the situation they told me to come in so they can see the cause and see if i fall under warranty. After they checked it out they repaired it free of charge. I’ll definitely be returning for there detailing service and future tint jobs. Thanks for the great service.

If I can give a thousand stars I would. The pictures don’t do it justice. My car was disgusting (I’m so embarrassed even posting this but he needs the credit where it’s due) & Tino made me feel so comfortable and made my mom of 3 car feel peaceful-because the chaos was giving me anxiety. I’ll never come here again. I’ve been here a million times and they’ve done a lazy job before but this is next level. Four guys cleaned this car and inside looks like they did nothing. I showed the worker and he did a very lazy wipe over and had to get a dirty rag myself and wipe the whole car down on my own cause they just ignored me and walked away and pretended not to hear me. I paid for 2nd place and had to remind them of the tire shine and no fragrance spray, had to say that as well. None of the workers speak a lick of English outside and caught an attitude with me when they clearly saw I wasn’t happy with the job after they blatantly ignored me. I understand it’s not going to be absolutely spotless but damn it looked like they didn’t even try to clean. Don’t waste your money.

First time visitor and for the price I was very happy with the overall job done. Nothing is ever “perfect” but i could see the time and energy put into cleaning and shining the inside of my car both before and after the wash. Would definitely come back again.

Paid 30$ for their so called rebound/best service and this is the results… what a joke they are claiming 4 waxes and whatever… i didn’t see a single person using wax on the car except the wheel shine plus i had to ask one of the guys to wipe some of the dirty spots on the car everybody is just hand drying in a rush

I’ve taken a couple cars to get detailed at places all around the country over the past 15 years and always thought I did a better job myself … until I brought my Macan to Ervis today. Truly the best detail I have ever received. I could barely believe it was my car. The previous jobs I did myself seemed like a joke in comparison. I recently purchased the most expensive car wash offered at your establishment. However, upon inspecting my vehicle after the service was completed, I noticed that the rear windows were not cleaned properly, with soap residue still visible on the passenger window. As evident in the attached photographs, the seat backs were not wiped, and the interior, including the doors, was not thoroughly cleaned as expected. I kindly approached the cashier to inquire if these services were included in the car wash I had paid for, and she confirmed that they were. She then arranged for someone to rectify the situation and re-clean the interior of my car. Considering the premium price of the car wash and the additional tip I provided, I was disappointed with the initial quality of the service and the need for further attention to ensure a satisfactory outcome.

I'm a regular customer at this car wash. Three days ago, I visited during a busy weekend. A manager, Tafari, was rushing customers through the line. When I asked a cashier about a stain on my car's carpet and leather seats, Tafari approached me aggressively, repeating "$30, $30, $30" without listening. I tried to show him the small stain, but he invaded my personal space, pointed his finger, and raised his voice. I left, but when I returned to pick up my car, I asked another employee to spray the stain. Tafari intervened, telling the employee not to do it. I confronted him, saying I'd already paid for the service. He became enraged, grabbed a bat from his car, and tried to intimidate me. I recorded the incident and have attached the video as proof. I reported the incident to the owner and warned that Tafari's behavior would scare away customers. I won't return to this car wash as long as Tafari works there. His behavior was unprofessional and threatening. He needs to be fired.

I love this car wash. I have two vehicles under the monthly plan. UPDATE!!! Recently the quality of the wash has decreased dramatically. The gentlemen washing the car no longer pay attention to detail, and more importantly, they leave dirty spots. After the wash, dirt can still be seen in plain areas, and definitely, the hard to reach areas. When I pay the extra $ for the full service (which has doubked), I am consistently unhappy with my wheels and tires especially. They shouldn't still be dirty. I understand when it gets busy and crowded and they're trying to move cars along. But even when it isn't, it's the same results. Besides, I'd rather wait a little longer for a better wash than not. Please speak with your fellas and have them do a better job. I can't return the 5 stars until I see change. When I see the owner again I'll have a conversation with him but until then I hope he notices this review. Thank You.

Stretch is the only detailer I trust with my vehicles. He and his team just completed a full paint correction and ceramic coating on my Audi A6, and I’m beyond impressed! I had such a wonderful experience with Preferred Auto Spa. I purchased a used car that was delivered to me dirty and full of pet hair as well as old food and dirt under the seats. I cleaned as much as I could myself but I couldn't get most of the nastiness under the seats or the pet hair (complete with faint animal smell) out. I brought my car to this wonderful place for a simple rug shampoo and pet hair removal. When I tell you, my car literally looks brand new and smells great; it literally looks brand new inside and out and smells absolutely delicious inside. They even provided me with a complementary car wash. Before going to them, I was going to throw out my mats and buy some new ones. Now, I don't have to! Their prices are fair and everyone there was friendly and accommodating. I am so happy I chose to go there. I plan to return for some other services as they have gained my complete confidence. I have already started to tell my friends and family to go and get their cars washed and detailed there. They have gained some new customers! My only regret, is not taking before and after photos to show everyone the difference. I will do so next time.

Kevin did more than an amazing job! My fiancés car came in after not being touched with a vacuum in the five years of having it. Dirt, salt, dust, and crumbs. Kevin turned it into a brand new car. With the TLC package he got every detail and made it shine. He is the real deal, super genuine guy, and cares about what he does. You will not find THIS fair of a price for the work delivered. After the winter we just had my vehicle was in dire need of a deep cleaning and Do it right detailing came highly recommended. They were easy to work with, easy to contact and schedule and most importantly they did a phenomenal job and handled my car with care! The upholstery looks like new, and the detailing on the dashboard, door panels, and carpets exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail was incredible, and they even managed to get rid of stubborn stains I thought were permanent. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality, reliable service. I don’t normally blast companies on Facebook but I think it’s important to note that when a bad review is posted and wiped clean from Facebook I will continue to let people know my experience. Do it Right Do It Right Detailing DIR Ice Dam removal My review: From beginning to end I feel the whole situation was unprofessional. He started late (which almost felt like it was thrown in my face at the end of the day). Asked the night before if he could start between 7-8am and didn’t start until almost noon. I would like to say as a homeowner of a house in the video it would have been nice to be asked if video could be taken/used for marketing. I don’t mind however I think asking first would have been appropriate. From in person quote to completion the timeline kept increasing to the point the whole job was unable to be completed in the agreed upon time/price. It was offered the job could be completed at an additional charge, however I was left to feel like that was an inconvenience to his timeline. Finally I felt it to be strange that once they loaded up they proceeded to sit in my driveway in front of my house for another 30 minutes before they left. My husband and I will be left to complete the job ourselves as we still have ice on our roof. One section was never even started.

I had my car windows tinted and they did a awesome job. No complaints from me. I had alot of questions before I got them tinted and they were so knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. I was a little hesitant letting them do it but after talking w/them and the terrific job they did I'm so glad I went w/them. Great job guys!!!!

When I addressed the issues of salt, you gave me excuses instead of just Apologizing for the mistake. I wasn't rude either. Yet again, I inspected my car again and there was still salt. I thought a full detail would include everything like you quoted me over the phone upon appointment. I am just disappointed on this detail. I spent a lot of money to get a basic detail I could have done.

On December 5th I had my Nissan Maxima SL done at Shawshanked. Being a 2018 it had built up fine Swirls and scratches over time and it was time to protect my investment. After talking with Brandon I decided to go with the Swirl Slayer and added my Engine bay and also decided on going with a 3 year ceramic coat. Took 3 days for the finished product but boy was it worth it. Brandon went above and beyond what he had to do which was VERY much appreciated along with the quality of the work done on my car. He also kept me informed throughout the job to let me know all things we're going which was a plus in my book. Definitely recommend Shawshanked Detailing for your car needs. Scott V

I don't want to rule out giving this business a chance, but I also feel I should share my experience in case it should help someone make a decision. John seems to have more work than he can handle as one person. He may have experience, although I can not attest to that based on my results. Honesty, communication, and timing were major issues that precluded this. A mouse had gotten into our cargo van and left behind a horrible smell that was primarily coming from underneath the floor mat in the front cabin, where it had gnawed through the foam on the underside. Cleaning under it required removing the front seats. Detail Johnny seemed willing to do this while other shops weren't. Saturday, I dropped it off with these requirements: 1.) Use unscented cleaning products. 2.) Find and clean the source of the odor before charging me for O2 treatments done in vain. 3.) Call me when the floor mat is out so I can see if I need to replace it. All were agreed to without issue, but only the first fulfilled. He said it would be done next weekend at latest. No calls, so I left voicemail that weekend. Monday, the secretary texts me and tells me there is still an odor after two O2 treatments. She repeatedly avoided my question if he cleaned under the mat, but finally answered vaguely, yes. I asked if I could come in to see progress. She agreed to Friday/Saturday, but then never responded. Next Monday suddenly she said I can come pick it up. When I arrived, the van was outside with all doors opened. Because of that, the odor was undetectable. I peeled up the mat and asked about the amount dirt still underneath it. He claimed this was residual dirt come loose from the underside of the mat, which could not be fully cleaned using only the unscented products I had requested - which he determined to be limited to just soap and water, while I had meant to not use products with fragrances added. But even with just soap and water, I wasn't convinced by his answer and accepted only because the odor seemed gone. Paid $300 and took it home to find the odor returned once closed up. I looked under the floor mat more thoroughly and wiped off loads of dirt just from what I could reach with a dry paper towel. There were leaves and rocks from before the cleaning, still there. Now I was sure he lied. I took it back to him the next day. When I got there, he said, "we're going to do it my way this time." I said, "What do you mean, your way? You still haven't cleaned under the mat." He continued to insist that he had, which made me doubt myself and feel like the asshole. I told him to go ahead and try with his products. He told me he could get to it early next week. Over a week passed in radio silence, all texts and calls ignored. Next Monday, I stop by and there is clearly someone in the garage, but no answer on the phone or at the door. My boyfriend calls instead and gets his secretary, confirming that she was ignoring my number. She acts completely out of line and starts yelling at my boyfriend. I knock on the door again and John answers pissed off, tells me "You're not my only customer you know. Just take the van and go." She had lied to him and said my boyfriend “cussed her out” despite her being the one yelling, and exaggerated that I had been calling "nonstop" rather than a couple times throughout the week. I clarified what had actually happened and he did apologize, resolving to work out her troubling attitude. Still, now $300 and a month later, I had lost faith and my van smelled too badly to use with no solution. I finally decided to remove the mat myself. I've posted the pictures so you can judge, but in my mind there is no doubt he lied. Tons of dirt, debris, rocks, pieces of foam that a simple vacuum would have taken care of. He at least did not charge me for work he didn't do, but I still paid for two O2 treatments that I didn't want until the work I asked for was done. Perhaps he was confident that he could resolve it his way without doing the work I requested, but I still don't understand why not be upfront and avoid the mess.

Not impressed with work done at all. Everything discussed at consultation was overlooked beyond belief. For someone who has detail in their business name I can't get over how many details were missed. Completely forgot to detail roof of my truck and back window. Paint touch-up quality is something I could of done myself. At consultation i asked if you would be able to feel chip after touchup he said he would fill and sand it but because it was rounded into gas fill area it wouldnt be 100 percent. Doesnt even seem like the right color paint and wasnt filled like discussed. Asked to have iron contamination removed as discussed(my main reason for having detail done) and still have iron contamination. Inside looked great but wasn't messy to begin with and didn't put my weathertec liners back together in backseat. Disappointed is an understatement and for giving my vehicle for 2 plus days I would of expected different results. Please avoid and save your time and money.

I have done business with Ziebart over 25 years and I am done with the lack of management and customer service. First of all- they contact you to make your appointment for annual inspection and days before contact you back to cancel your appointment and after your appointment is scheduled for the second time- everyone in customer service is confused about the day they scheduled. Secondly- I brought my truck to get serviced and they had it for more than 5 days and the day I picked it up- the work wasn’t done right and there was undercoating overspray all over my truck. Not to mention- told the manager to come out so I can show him the areas that weren’t done- he stated that he wasn’t going to inspect the job and for me to bring it back! Ziebart had my vehicle for 5 DAYS and I have to bring it back?! There is NO REASON for me to bring a vehicle back when you had it for 5 days!!! If they did the job correctly- the undercoating wouldn’t be peeling and at the end of it- getting charged for sh*ty work! Lastly- CUSTOMER BEWARE- they have changed their policy on September 2024 and now they are charging for annual inspections! Since this point- I have never been charged for inspections and all of the sudden they are charging without telling you what they are charging you for! For any new or used vehicle owners that need to get your vehicle undercoated- there are better establishments out there that have great customer service and take care of their customers! If you want to get screwed- go to Ziebart- they do a good job at screwing their customers!

If I could give a zero that would be too much for the Ziebart in Syracuse . I took my Bronco to have touch up rustproof as required by Ziebart . The shop manager got overspray on bumpers mirrors windows fender flares all over my running boards . 3 trips there and they can’t fix or remove it . Yet another trip and they will try to detail . Sorry just do t have time today I fix the problem after sitting there for 6 hours. Horrible service . Calling BBB to see if they can help . Next will be court . Never again .

Had my SUV detailed, inside and out. The guys did an amazing job! It looked just like it did when I picked up my car from the dealer. I have my dog in the car a lot so there was a ton of pet hair. I didn't even see one strand when of hair after cleaning. Will definitely be turning! Highly recommend.
